Job Description

The successful candidates must be responsible have the following qualifications:

• A valid Drivers Licence is preferred
• Ability to get yourself to job site by 7:30am daily
• Trade Qualification (TQ) would be helpful but is not necessary
• Experience in roofing with all types of roof systems is helpful
• Basic computer skills are an asset
• The ability to complete written inspection and safety reports
• Customer service orientated
• The ability to follow directions from supervisors and/or delegate instructions to junior crew members

Job Duties and Skills

• Install, repair built-up roofing systems (Tar and Gravel)
• Install, repair or replace asphalt shingle roofing systems
• Install, repair or replace shingles, metal cladding and other roofing material on sloped and flat roofs of buildings
• Install metal flashing with S-locks and standing seams
• Troubleshoot to detect leaks
• Inspect re-roofing
• Ability to work at heights up to 15.5m (50’)
• Ability to carry up to 23kg (50lbs)
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons

Requirements

• Written and spoken English
• 0-3 years of related experience
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Completion of High School or Equivalent
